Health & Safety Update
Forth Steel’s Directors and Management team have taken a systematic approach to Health and Safety, making the process more effective and easier to manage. Iain Sinclair (Sales Manager) stated ‘We view the Health and Safety of our employees and visitors as the most important aspect of the business. The company are committed to identifying opportunities for improvement, reducing workplace hazards and increasing safety awareness by completing thorough risk assessments and safe operating procedures. This has been recognised by our employees and encourages them to contribute by identifying and offering their contributions and opportunities for improvement’.
‘To demonstrate our commitment to Health and Safety, our intention to have our documented Health and Safety system audited and accredited to the OHSAS 18001 requirements is scheduled for 2009’.
