At Forth Steel, our 5 overhead 20 tonne cranes feed our 4 Suprarex SXE P3 and 1 Combirex 3500 cutting machines, efficiently process all orders ensuring the scale of a project will pose no problem. Whatever the grade, our state of the art 6 oxy propane headed, Suprarex profiling machines will ensure a cut of the highest quality is replicated time after time by our experienced operatives.
The state of the art cutting machines are linked to ESAB’s own Columbus software, allowing the production of any required shape. The Suprarex machines are also fitted with a Model 80 Jumbo machine torch which enables cutting up to 700mm thick working on cutting beds with a capability up to 15m long by 4m wide.
All machines are worked by a 24/5 shift pattern with weekends when required, providing flexibility to our customers ever changing demands and around the clock production makes same and next day deliveries possible.
Our infinitely Rotating Three-Burner-Unit (VBA) enables bevelling of single and double weld preps of 45 deg up to 75mm thick plate where profile dimensions allow. It is also possible to process single or combined I, V, Y, DY and K weld seams on shaped parts with this tried and tested tool, quickly and easily.
